We can only play original works. We cannot play cover songs at this time, due to
royalties. We're still researching what it will take to allow cover songs. We're
not really sure the law says no. But at this time we only accept original works.

What local means:
We welcome artists from Hampton Roads (Southeastern Virginia), as well as artists
that are likely to perform in the area on a high frequency. This means we welcome artists
from Richmond, Washington DC, and Raleigh. We hope to weight play based on upcoming
shows, so we can help people find local shows to see.

Genres we welcome:
Radio757 was created by music fans, and on that note we welcome all genres of music. We
know that not everyone has the same feelings, and hope everyone can hang in there until
we have enough content to split into several feeds based on genres. At this time, the only
thing we aren't interested in is music with heavy violence and overly Religious content.
We're not looking for mixtapes. Mixtapes would likely
require us to pay royalties.
But all forms of rock, country, folk, classical electronic, spoken word poetry recordings,
and the like are welcome. We reserve the right to reject any song for any reason.

Our rights, your rights:
By uploading music to Radio757 you agree that we are allowed to play your song on our
internet feeds without restriction. We do not claim any ownership of your work. There is
no fees or costs asked from any artist. Our goal is is helping people find local artists
in the community in which we live. If you would like your song or songs removed from our
playlists, just contact us via email. We only allow streaming of audio from our site
and do not directly facilitate downloading.

With that out of the way, we'd like to say thank you for helping
us to make this possible! We hope that we can help you find more
fans!

We prefer uncompressed WAV/FLAC format files. If all you have is a MP3,
we can make do. Other file formats, send it and we can likely convert it.
Our automation system uses uncompressed audio.
